Inspiration for this thread came from this blitz game. should have lost but my opponent blundered several mate-in-one chances and promptly lost

one of my first games was pretty lucky. I was playing someone significantly higher rated than me and getting my ass kicked. This apparently lulled my opponent into a false sense of security and I won with a smothered mate. The game was somehow removed from my list.

You're not a premium meber, so you can only view your games from the past month or so (if I remember correctly) in your archive. Earlier games are still in your archive - you just can't view them unless you update (or ask a premium member to search through your archive and give you the url for the game).

it would be impossible for me to find the game now, but I once played a game on here, and after double jumping a pawn to check the king, the only legal move he had was en passant. the king couldn't move, he must of not known about en passant cause he timed out haha. he had a definite winning postion.

wow thanks! I was a diamond member for a year and I could have sworn I could see games before that. I may subscribe again at some point.
