No, I like technical. I think the shot of the pieces tumbling into the forgetful wielder's face would be amusing to see.
Getting hit in the face by a Knight gives a whole new meaning to the play on words FORK YOU.
And the horse you rode on!

So we have Chess-boxing and rollercoaster chess, what next? Anyone got any good new ideas?
Girlfriend and boyfriend chess! I imagine this could be styled to your own preference. It could mean something different to each couple. Sounds fun to me! (Just keep it PG while in the forums here)
Breaking Dawn from the Twilight series is an awesome book cover cause it has a giant queen piece on it. (BTW I read all 4 books in the series years ago.)

Nice graphics. That would look great, framed. I don't suppose the books have anything to do with chess? (I haven't read this whole thread.)

I agree! The cover is awesome! I'm so happy I have a hardcover of this book...
Unforunately, it is not at all about chess. It is a love story series about a human girl, a vampire, and a werewolf. AKA The Twilight Saga. (Again, I read the series years ago. It's a book series for teens.)
Speaking of girlfriends and chess, this is Alexandra Botez. I see she is playing the French Defence. If she ever stepped in the cafe I played at, she'd kick all of our asses. Would be a good match between her and my coach indeed!
I would get kicked out for staring!
"Woah! You played in a chess tournament? As in like checkers?"
By the way:
There is an American Checker Federation (ACF)
I hadn't ever looked up this website so that's interesting to see.
They have studies on openings, strategies, checkers clubs, advice to beginners, checkers tournament rules, etc., just like chess (except not like chess, if you know what I mean).
http://www.usacheckers.com/acfratings.php
Rated checkers players. I think this list shows the only 25 people in the world who have an up-to-date checkers rating in the past 3 years (as stated on the website).

I'm going to be honest as well, if Alexandra walked in with her bag, stopped at our table and waited for one of us to notice her before she spoke up, I would be in shock! I'm used to all the pretty women that come in and out to order something at the counter, eat and then leave, but would never expect to see one of them challenge us!
That would make my day and it would be like a breath of fresh air (for me)!
