Why do you get sick of it? Because you're prepared you can punish them hard and then you win, next game.

Get better, once you are up the rating ladder this will automatically stop.
In the meantime, learn how to punish those scholar mate lines with ruthless efficiency. They are objectively bad, and you should be able to take advantage of them. Treat it as a learning opportunity.

At the moment I play scholars mate all the time. It's a fun opening and you can do a bit with it, besides, you wouldn't believe how many games I have won like this in the lower elo class that I am. Sometimes it gets blocked, then I just go back to normal game and take it from there.
Funniest moment was when I moved my bishop the other guy taunted me like "learn a real opening loser" and then I took his rook, jumped back, moved a knight and then mated him. So much for that.
If someone tries a scholars mate, just use your counter tactics. It's like saying "I am so sick of the sicilian opening". It's just very common.
me happening the same!! Playing philidor with black and many times they tried legal mate
