Sharing a game where the pawn Simon Williams calls Harry won the day is bragging? In that case the answer to your question is clearly no.

Gotta agree that was a rather well timed post on that thread. Can't even praise ppl who crush you. What is the world coming to.

playing 13.......c5 is like a boxer not anticipating anything will happen.   Black is just applying pressure to the Center.    But then wow, 14 h5 ignores that, as White knows he is attacking the Black King directly.   Black is oblivious to White's threats.....otherwise try to defend with 14......Rh8  15  hxg, hxg

In the actual game 15 hxg6 is murder.    If White is bragging, he would have at least given that move 1 or 2 exclamation points !    White proceeds to efficiently mate Black.   

This is a good game for showing what happens when an opponent does not pay attention to his/her King's defense.    well done sir !!

@HorsesGalore - Thx for the rather vivid description of the game. I did indeed feel great about ignoring the knight and going straight for his king.

I love Simon and I love Harry, but the defence of your opponent was frankly ridiculous... why did he let you open the H file without any need whatsoever? It was quite easy to calculate that he couldn't survive lol

I agree the opponent didn't put up as sturdy a defence as was possible there.

Staying on the topic of Harry, here is another game, that I just finished, with Harry once again proving to be invincible in the win. Never knew the value of pushing Harry till I saw the ginger_gm talk about it.

Well yeah, but the point is that the power of Harry has now become known. I will look to destroy fionchettoed bishops more often using harry.
