Hi,

My students are going to a simul next week. Any advice, specially on etiquette? Thank you.

Are you going to make sure they keep scores of their games?

If anyone gets in a winning position, tell them to ask the question, "Are you gonna resign yet GM, or do you want me to totally smash you?"

Dont make your move until the player has come to the board.

Generally, you are allowed to pass on making a move 3 times.

Shake the players hand.

Wish them Good Luck.

Dont talk during the game, unless its to offer a draw, or resign.

DO NOT offer a draw everytime the player comes to your board.

Be considerate, polite, and appreciate that a titled player is doing this.

We haven't practised that. I know how important that is, but we've only played 10'-15' games and since it's not compulsory to keep scores, we don't.   :/

I think you should encourage them to do so. Those pieces of paper would be worth saving.
