Lol, you mean 0-2?
Sinquefield Cup 2014
GL all players. The strongest tourney in history. Too bad Anand didn't come. Would love to see a preview of the WCC

Aronian would've lost to any other player in that position, luckily he played an out of form Topalov. I guess Aronian will end up second last. Magnus is guaranteed to wipe the floor with him both rounds.

Also Magnus Carlsen is going to win the next 4 games in a row and get his rating back. I'm betting on it.
Topalov vs Nakamura will be exciting unless Topalov goes in for damage control. Nakamura had a tough start against Aronian and Carlsen but played two solid draws. Anything could happen, but both players might be content with a draw.
The same thing with MVL vs Aronian, where a draw would be a good result for both players and MVL might need rest from all the fireworks in his first games.
Carlsen vs Caruana is a game Carlsen really, really wants to win, so he will catch up with Caruana, now that he finally got his first white game. But winning on demand against 2800+ opponents is difficult, so my guess for the third round is three draws.

MVL was fine until he missed a key queen move.
Apprently he was not so fine. Caruana's novelty (14.Rc1) poses Black serious problems. The suggested 17...Kf8 is actually closer to "lost" than "equal".
Here is some fast analysis, which is certainly better than the stupid engine evaluations at chessbomb:

(IM pfren) ....which is certainly better than the stupid engine evaluations.....
....And that goes for most of those engine evaluations. Gawd, I can't stand those stoopit analysts. Let's give it a +1.28....Wow, it's now a -0.86. No, wait !....Ahhh, stick my tongue out....
I stead of 17. ... Kf8, I thought the move was Qb4, to save the position
Edit: You are an IM though. What do you think about Qb4 on move 17?

Interesting to note that the latest live ratings show Magnus has fallen to 2867 and Caruana has risen to 2809.7 . The gap between the two is now only 57.3 points .
Caruana is a man on the up whereas Magnus looks to be slightly on the slide having lost over 20 pts since peaking at 2889.2 in April of this year. It may well be that in 6 months we may be looking at a new world number 1 .

Nope Carlsen will beat Caruana today. Caruana will go back to 2805 and Carlsen will be on 2871. Then Carlsen will win 3 more games in a row.
And topolov goes down hard
