slow players and time outs

I posted a message this morning about a new chess group for players who would like to play a game under a month- and if possible in a day. I know that this is an issue, some like to play a move a week, which is fine, but many would like to play more quickly. I am posting this for anyone who might not have seen the first post; we have 3 members at present- if you'd like to join- here's the link.

If the person you're playing against is up to it, playing fast is possible. I've done it a few times................leave the site open and check back every now and again. Usually, it goes a few days but, I have played whole games in one day.

I can make about 20-plus moves in a day depending how quickly the moves come back to me.................many times I've seen two moves made in a few minutes.

If you minimize the window, it tells you it's your move...........maximize it, make your move and, go back to other things in a new window.

Tanks Datadog, I am playing about 10 games a day from start to finish, I know that not everyone i like me, but thats what I want, and I know there are others who do as well, I use this site for practising for over the board chess- and I need lots of practise

This is  a good idea for people who likes to see result....here's hoping that vacation is not allowed as well or this will contradict the name of the team. But this is a team that has potential for fast players.

Good point Trademarks1419. I didn't set it as no vacation, seeing as it's for group members- I forgot. It's too late to go back now, sorry- but the first tournament was 90%  complete after 4 days- I'm sure this will be the same. I will set all future tournaments with no vacation, the if people know they can't play for a few days, they simply wouldn;t join that tournament.
