smurfing isn't allowed here, there's just tons of people and the staff are overloaded with other stuff. auto-bots wouldn't suffice because banning 1 innocent is worse then not banning 10 guilty

Thats not ture.
Support said chess . com wont do anything against smurf accounts. They can play as many unrated games as they want with anybody and the poor new players cant do anything about it.
Ridiculous but there are so many players with X thousand win and zero lost game or close to zero because they cant lose against the low rated oponnents.
You're talking about accounts that never play a single rated game and stay at their starting rating? How is that cheating and what is your problem with it?
A user of this site has every right to play unrated games.
That's not smurfing. unrated games can be played against any rated player, not just lower rated ones. Plus once the player starts playing rated games, their rating will increase because they will beat all these "weak" players.
So im not sure what ur on about. There's nothing wrong with any of this.
The real problem similar to this is sandbagging, where stronger players will deliberately sabotage their own rated games and resign so their ratings drop then go into weaker rated tournaments online and smash everyone.
Yeah its ok to play unrated but when somebody plays 10k games all day every day against 600 elo players and his true elo above 2000 thats just not normal.
These kind of people just ruining the chess experience for the new players...

The problem is his elo is way above his rateing.
I can link you several users with thousand of win against new players because they refuse to play ranked to stay on the current rank.
They are ruining the chess experience for the new players who just want to play unrated with his elo.
I don't see the problem. I'd have loved to have played strong players, whether I knew they were strong or not, when I was starting out. It'll probably be great for their development. They'll see what good play is and try to emulate it themselves. Surely that's better than them getting beaten by other new (but slightly better) players and trying to emulate their terrible play.

Nothing wrong to play somebody stonger.
But you are agreed to play against a stronger opponent and you know exactly what is his elo.
But when somebody hide under a 600 elo and he has 9000 wins and zero lost games because he plays against 600 elo players thats not normal. Not a single 600 player wanted to play against a half GM or an IM who is hideing under a a low rated profile.
This thread makes zero sense. I assume it's just a troll thread.
Ok imagine you are starting chess.
You know the basic moves.
You got an opponent ranked similar elo as you like 600
And he beat the s out of you.
And you dont know why?
Because he is not 600
He is 2200 elo player.
And your game against him is hopless. You cant win.
Thats not fair play.
Fair play is saying: "im elo 2200 do you want to play against me?"
Yes - No
But some people just hide under a low rank and demolish new players for fun.
A half GM? lol
Whatever lol, I won't be repeating myself. Just re-read my previous post.
So are you saying for an elo 600 is a good thing to get matched against a 2000+ elo palyer who mate him or clean up the board within 15 moves?
And the 600 doesnt even agreed to play against that guy if he would know his elo.
lol. I highly doubt there are so many people like what the op describes that do those things. And even so, it's just unrated. Nobody cares about unrated.

That doesn't make sense. How do you "hide" under a lower rating? If you're consistently beating weaker players with the same rating as you, then your rating will go up, and you will eventually play against higher-rated players. I don't see a problem with that, especially if it's unrated. Unrated games can be played by anybody.

it's not cheating if you aren't using an engine. And if you're not using an engine while playing unrated, nobody cares.
Why smurfing is allowed here?
Chess.com refus to do anything against smurf accounts with +90% win ration.
Time to time im stumble uppon players with tremendous wins and basicaly non lost games.
They usualy bellow elo 1000 or 1500 and playing against the low rated community.
Since they play unrated games they can keep their elo.
But what is their true elo?
I saw players with elo 600 and has several wins against 2100.
Why chess.com let players demolish low rated newbies?
They ruining the chess experience for thousands and thousands of players...
