So, are all the profile pictures going to be deleted?

I wonder if Chess.com will lose members because of this.

Thought I read something by Erik in another thread about the new process of posting pictures coming in V3 that the avatars wouldn't be affected.  Of course my short term memory is not all that reliable these days. 

That's cool, I mean about our avatars pics that is!

This is the worst idea that CC could have. The whole social aspect of this site will be destroyed. Very disappointing.

So we will all have a gray chess pawn for an avatar?

           LIM;  where did you confirm that??  Erik's dropped a few hints in, "How Longggg Untilllll V3?", but I can't find any confirmation on what you say.   It may be, but I can't find it.   I wonder if your getting confused with what Johnny M takes as fact??

           Sorry; I was out of the loop for 24 hrs with a minor computer virus.  My mouse died too, so they'll be doing a new episode of, (you guessed it), TOMCAT'S  "Dead Mouse Theater".
