I too beat Stockfish 8. I have Nvidia GTX 1080 btw, so Stockfish is pretty powerful on my pc.
Ricky i don't care. Stockfish sac'd a knight for no reason and I ended up drawing. Just becuase I'm using a shabby chess GUI and can't post the entire game here means nothing. And if you want to accuse me of trolling at least do it in a way that makes sense, profanity and berkering makes you look like the troll ,in my thread.

Wow will_n you beat Stockfish 8 as well? Congratulations! You must have played a beautiful game. I really admire guys that can play as well as you. It's quite an amazing accomplishment for anyone to beat Stockfish 8. Especially when their rating is only 926. Kudos my friend! Kudos! I have been reading through these forums and they are a joke. I admit they are very entertaining but it's important to not believe most of what the members have to say. These forums are mostly lies, half truths, ignorance, immaturity and stupidity. Sorry but that's my impression.

Ok, this is not unbelievable. I believe the OP.
He set the engine to "maximum aggression", probably without realizing that it was severely weakened by this. Factor in the use of a mobile phone, and a draw is well within the reach of an amateur player.
Also, there might have been other engine settings which (without any bad intention) 0ww0 used, but were actually detrimental to the playing strength of Stockfish. Or other issues with his phone (too many apps running in the background, for example). I do not know about that GUI, but I use Droidfish, and when a time control is set, the engine adheres to it strictly; but the human player is not flagged for overstepping the time limit. Perhaps he took much more time to think over his moves than the engine?
Please note that I am not saying that any of these happened (or did not happen), only that they might have happened and are not unlikely at all.
Finally, 0ww0 does not tell us how many times he tried before. Perhaps he had already lost 50 games, and then drew this one... and was too happy and eager to share his achievement. Congratulations!
