So this just happened...

I was playing a blitz game as White, and I realized I could deliver checkmate by castling — yes, castling!

The position was completely winning already, but I paused and noticed that my rook on h1 had a clear path to f1, and my king was still on e1, untouched. I played 0-0, and boom — checkmate!

The king moved to g1, the rook landed on f1, and suddenly the Black king on f8 had no escape. My bishop was cutting off g7, the queen controlled e8, and all the escape squares were covered or blocked by their own pieces.

Has anyone else ever pulled off this kind of checkmate? It felt so satisfying and rare. I'd love to see if others have similar stories of bizarre or creative mates.
