Some newspaper did, and, perhaps some still do, have a daily chess puzzle. Did any have a chess column?
Should online and broadcast news shows have chess segments?
I'd really like to see a chess channel on cable, where games are discussed, analyzed, strategies and tactics analyzed, lessons given at various levels, etc...
I wonder if there are enough people interested in chess to make it pay off? What kind of advertisements would you throw at chess players, though? Is there really any product, besides chess equipment and brain and memory aids that chess players tend to want in common?
