Here is the final position!

Checkmate by the creed, resign by the creed!

Math of the game:
  • He has two 7's in the profile name. So 2^7=128 moves.
  • Pick a random moment after move 60, you have mate in 3 or 2.
  • The last move of the game Kf7# (7, don't you see) is the only mate in 1.
  • f7 is proven to be one of the weakest squares on the board once again.

Not again. You show very poor skill to checkmate the op earlier.

GalaxKing

Resigning is an option, not a mandate.

AcoolV

You could have done a blunder and made it a stalemate. That's a chance

missjessica77

LOL!!! 7 queens is a bit much, don't you think?

AussieMatey

You had 11 chances to go wrong because  128. Qb1, Qb2, Qb3, Qb6, Qd6,  Qe5, Qff4, Qhf4, Qg3, Qh2 and Rb7 were all stalemate. Cool

@AussieRookie

Some people don't know when to checkmate.

Sub1000

It would be rather hilarious to see you accidentally stalemate someone by promoting to that many queens. Make knights instead. C'mon. Real ballers will take a K + B + P endgame and promote that pawn to a knight. Pfft... low rated players. LOL!

Nessajja

Yes, we could do with a few "outlaw stalemate!!" threads by guys who got burned.

....there is no rule that dictates resignation. One plays the game.  I prefer not giving up even when I have obviously (& often) lost.  So what.  It becomes more about your failure to checkmate rather than my failure to win.  Innocent

Doing this in an actual tournament can get you disqualified. It is extremely unsportsman like and quite rude to your opponent.

Your opponent has no obligation to resign at any point, you do have an obligation to finish the game as soon as you are capable of finishing it.

On top of that you are gloating about what you have done.

Haggard-CC

hehe Migilla you should have protected all your pawns in that totally winning endgame Sealed then promote 1 knight, 1 bishop, 2 rooks and 1 queen, then put all the pieces to the starting position Innocent

thanks for the comments guys, if you have time visit my blog Chessassin's Creed

What aggravates me is when a player who knows that they cannot win delays the outcome of the game by only making a move at the absolute last second. I have a game like this right now against Bahamachessmate who is much higher rated than myself, so he/she is delaying the game's end because of the inevitable large rating drop

What?

I've heard this before. People think a chess.com score/rating actually matters.  No offence guys, but unless you are a masterclass, chess.com can only be indicative.  It's playing & enjoying playing that matters.  Just saying.  Or hoping.

biff55

Annoying as it can be , some players just never resign , thats their right within the rules of the game.

However , this fact doesnt disguise how unsporting and childish the OP looks by dragging out the posted game for another 60+ moves more than was necessary.

Winning with dignity & honour is rarely explained in chess books.........

Not this old chestnut again! Booooring!

Why is it people who struggle to convincingly win a game, and check mate thier opponent always seem to start this same old thread type going again?

Grow up! yawn.
