So true, funny how it sounds...blah blah. I agree with uwinagain. If you can win, you will win. If you can't put together a convincing checkmate...don't be moaning about sixty moves gaming. Probably, you should focus on improving The End Game.
Some People Don't Know When to Resign
The typical chess.com play is a cowardly, poor loser who does not have the charcter to accept an inevitable loss. I compare these people to Adolf Hitler. We put down sick dogs, they retain chess.com accounts. Kudos to the OP for embarassing this walking chunk of rat feces, may his mother encounter Dennis Rodman in a Seven Eleven.
Resigning is an option, not a mandate.
Checkmating immediately is an option, not a mandate. I found the game quite amusing. While the black side is under no obligation to resign, white is under no obligation to make it a quick, painless death. If one is not outraged by the not resigning, then that person should not be outraged by White toying with him. I like it... it reminded me of when my cat would mess with mice for a while before killing them.
It is a good idea, to mate fast so as not to stalemate
fun's over, people.
Indeed. But people can have opinions & some people can think an opponent refusing to resign is bad form. Back in the real world.....do we care?
I personally like what the OP did. It's annoying having your time wasted by people just because they can! So why not do it back to them, and practice some anti-stalemate tactics in the process. In my opinion it's definitely a lack of respect to string a game out, and in practical terms, as mentioned, a total waste of everybody's time.
C'mon. People can take every second of any game you sign up to. Getting bitchy &/or impatient is not an option.
Russell Gladiator Crowe? I'm entertained!
Listen, people are at liberty to play, procastrinate & even lose a match. Be nice, be patient & show tolerance. It's the right thing to do. Unto others and all that.

I disagree, a game should be played until the first player gets mate, I am fine with you doing that because I can win or draw but I strongly suggest to mate fast
I agree. This particular player was never taught to resign!
