when I try to start a new game with a specific friend via the Android app, it says "error something wrong has happened check new version". I have the latest version. why can't I initiate a new game?

not a bad guess--maybe you're right.  anyway, i was able to start a few games so maybe it's working now (or my friend updated his app)...?
