I was playing a guy, the game started the other day and we where playing it pretty rapid. this is the message he left for me. (I'm turning the message board off. I'm going to drag this out as long as possible, 1 move every 3 days) people like this need to get a life! how petty! oh and guess which of the two rated games ive played it is

b0necrusher

Well, there's no doubt you have an advantage in material, but the game isn't as crushingly over as you make it out to be. With solid play, you should almost definitely be able to pick up a win, but the game is not entirely lost for your opponent.

The comment was very unnecessary though :(

naw man trust me the guy is crushed!! i know exactly how the game is going to go he has zero chance of counter play and he should resign

easytarget

what's worse than a sore loser?

a sore winner

how am i a sore winner the guy is making me wait 3 days a move! how spitefull can you get? and i take it you come across sore winners all the time then easytarget after you probably insult them after you lose(Alot)

bOnecrusher convenienntly failed to mention  why I did this, because he told me "resign!" as soon as he won his piece, this has only happened once before in over 300 games and I resented it then too. I have never told a player to reisign, no matter how big the advantage. Some guys  hope for a stalemate-so be it. I don't do that myself Lord knows I've resigned lots of games--I probab;y would've resigned this one  if my worthy opponent had kept his mouth shut. I will see what others have to say about this.

dvandegraaf

I'd keep playing if I were you, though behind in material it's not nearly as decisive as the 1424 player makes it out to be...

it was a bit of psychology just like what mihail tal did ever hear what he did to fischer as a kid? i expected you to give me a bit of back chat after all it is only a game but to be soooooo petty and childish! come on how sad can you get????? really your probably in your 40's. lets just get this game out of the way an go on with our lives :)

no it really is that decisive as i make it out to be!! your just not good enough to see it

I too would continue to play. After taking the knight, shredder can see several lines which bring you back under -2 after several moves, depending on what b0nehead chooses to play. Make the idiot sweat it out.

"i know exactly how the game is going to go he has zero chance of counter play"

This statement is tantamount to declaring mate in x number of moves.... would you care to show us this failsafe line of play b0nehead?

"how am i a sore winner the guy is making me wait 3 days a move!" You aren't a sore winner because you haven't necessarily won yet. Your yobbish behaviour belies you lack of chess acumen.

I'll give you a game if you like little man, I'll give you a pawn advantage from the outset as well if you like.

 you havent a clue hofSADer

Hofstader

I'm with Neurionb, as he echos my earlier challenge.....Post this infallible line of play and let us all bask in your chess genius or alternatively, quite whining and stop bothering us with your arrogant poor sportsmanship.

Uhhh...no. Your advantage is not at all decisive, especially considering you're playing against someone who is rated higher than you. You could post the variation lines you see of how your advantage is so overwhelming if you really think it is.

if it was blitz i wouldnt mind him playing on to the bitter end! and hes not higher rated then me im alot higher rated than you think plus this is only my second game here

Hofstader

"you havent a clue hofSADer" Hmmmm....intelligent repartee we're getting now. Care to make any attempt to answer questions people have raised?

You lost any respect I might have had for you when it was revealed that your original post was in fact a deception...missing out your initial message to your opponent paints you in kind of a bad light.

we're still waiting for this magic line of yours.

And if you think I haven't got a clue, then challenge me to a game little man.

Let me get this straight, B0necrusher: When I act like an ass, it's a psychological ploy worthy of Tal; when my opponent acts like an ass, it's becasue he's an ass.

Does that about sum it up?

Perhaps you're being out-psyched here.

I don't blame his opponent for dragging out the game.  I'd probably do the same if I was faced with somebody that comes accross like a complete douche (at least based on his comments here).

I'm curious if you feel in the least that this post is deceptive considering the rather substantial omission of not mentioning that you told him to resign and that this was his response.
