Speed alone wins Bullet?

Part of me thinks this must be really irritating to play against and that it's bad sportsmanship from me... or perhaps this is just the deal with bullet, that as long as I can avoid actually being mated all I have to do is to be fast?

Premoves are very important of course, and especially vital in the end of the game. But playing with many premoves in the opening and middlegame will involve too many errors to be effective, unless you completely outclass your opponent.
It may also be the case that some of your opponents aren't fast enough to be playing 1/0 yet.
