Are you sure we never played for 3 hours? Some of the sessions seemed pretty long.
Yeah, 3 hours is a lot, but I think it would be fun.

Ohhh no LGP, that's not how it works with stiggling. Its either farm or get farmed

The thing about a rating is, if you're underrated you effectively get bonus points because you're preforming better than your rating predicts.
It all balances out in the end.
The 12 year olds who cry about being 200 points underrated are just dumb.
I think it would be interesting, but I'd bomb as soon as the bullet portion started lol
You and I are about the same rating. I would want to play this format if you want. I haven’t played very many blitz and bullet games on this account, but we are probably pretty evenly matched if you wanted to do it.

im interested, just cuz i want to play lgp ![]()

I'm not playing with you unless it's unrated lol... I haven't played too many bullet games so I lose like 50 points of I lose. My bullet rating would be sub-1000 when everything was said and done xD
How about me

Ok, later I'll probably make a table of names and times people can play. So far I think 4 or 5 people said they're interested.
I'd like to play on the weekend (Friday, Sat, or Sun), and my times are flexible.
I also prefer within 400 points, so I'll say 1800 to 2600 in any live time control. If you're lower (or higher) then playing for 3 hours straight probably wont be exciting for either of us.
But for people + or - 400, maybe they could set up an adoption match. 10 games, and the higher rated player has to win them all or they lose the match ![]()
I'd be happy to play one of you, I am generally free anywhere from 6-10 pm EST every day but may be able to play earlier if you arrange it in advance.
Would you be free to play on Tuesday, 7-10pm EST. (Probably more like 7-10:30 with running over the clock and 5 minutes rest between sections)
Yeah, it really depends. Sometimes you can 10-0 someone 2 or 3 hundred points away, but sometimes someone 5 or 6 hundred points away beats you more than once.
It's tricky... maybe has to do with psychology and how the styles match up.
Definitely when the lower rated player is unafraid and bold it's a lot harder. When the lower rated player is conservative it's pretty easy to beat them.

I think that the difference would have to be over 500-600 for that to work, I'm pretty sure I couldn't beat a 1400 player 10 times in a row...
its my time to shine

Forum for people who think it would be interesting to try chess.com's Speed Chess Championship format, which is shown below:
90 minutes of 5/1 blitz, 60 minutes of 3/1 blitz, and 30 minutes of 1/1 bullet chess.
@steven-odonoghue already said he's interested in playing me (not right away, maybe next month)... but if others are interested maybe you could find each other here.
I always thought it'd be fun to try this format out.
