In other words opening prep was a strength for me, or at least, we both did poorly whenever the opening didn't go well for us. Ok, that's fair.

Still, if we play again (and I don't know if you'd want to but if), I want to try getting us both out of book earlier to see how that goes... unless we agree on something like a themed match or some other rule preventing this.
