Speed Chess, good or bad?

5 minute chess is a great way to develop rapid sight of board awareness. 

It looks like you are dressed up and ready to go to work.

I think as long as you are never late for work you can play as much blitz chess as you like.

speed chess is a different game from chess. They are not the same. Same pieces, same rules, but strategies and effective playing are totally different.

Blitz is good, fun chess - but surperficial. You should play at least 1 30 minute or more game a week.

I think that sums it up nicely.  It sure is fun, but I wouldn't play it exclusively.

Well, now you're talkin'. Get a few, and just start making crazy aggresive moves. It's fun. You'll lose. But... It's fun.
