"so you saying alot of ppl have said it yet u still so stupid to understand ? "

Well, a lot of stupid people have said it. +1 including you

You say grandmasters agree with you? Can you prove that assertion? Also, how is it stupid? It applies equally to both sides, so it is fair. The goal of the game is to checkmate your opponent, not to take their pieces. The material doesn't decide the game. The position does. If you don't like it, then that's just tough. The game doesn't revolve around you or what you think is fair or smart. You keep saying that the stalemate rule is stupid and unfair. Those are not facts. Those are your subjective opinions. In the subjective opinions of the majority of chess players, the stalemate rule is fine. I'm not trying to belittle you, but that's just the way it is. Games are designed to be fun for as many people as possible. If you don't like it, that's fine. You don't have to. However, that doesn't mean you should throw a temper tantrum about it and call everyone else stupid.

Of course people have said it. There's a good reason for having the stalemate rule but I can't be bothered trying to explain it to you.

stalemate with one opponent having materials and the other no materials  is illogical if i have to explain to you why its a win you got issue with critical thinking

I believe there is nothing wrong with stalemate. Excuse my name. I was eight years old when I chose it.

You know you can create your own variant of chess which is just like normal chess but without stalemate right?
Then you and all the other people who get upset after throwing away a win can stop polluting the forums with this bollox.

Why so sad and angry, son? Relax, have fun. I'm sure you're actually a bright and pleasant young man in real life, why not be one here?

I think we'll have to agree to disagree here. I think stalemate introduces a wonderful, almost magical element to chess. It allows for almost miraculous saves and makes the winning side use precision and care to bring the win home. And be honest with yourself, wasn't it just foolish and careless play that robbed you of your win? You knew the rules.

Avatar of tweetytwo

im have to repeat my self here you could say careless if it was a rapid game  but since its a blitz game there is nothing more worse than losing in time than losing to a stalemate that should been a win this stalemate just  profit the loser side one being a bad player  and continue playing without resigning with no dignity shouldnt be a draw
