Good point. I'd also like to see a Standard rating.
Based on how chess.com determines the rating category, at what break point would you recommend Rapid ends and Standard begins? Provide some examples of time controls that you consider Standard.

I am someone who is looking to gain and improve my standard rating.
That is, I'm interested in being part of a community that supports and encourages the use of standard clocks in live games and will rate me accordingly for my abilities in that area. That is of course, a true chess rating, is it not?
Now I know there are groups that arrange standard games on this site, and I've been a part of them before. However, those games are not given a standard rating; rather, they are considered rapid games. Why? My problem with this is that I could have a chess record that is based entirely on games I've played with standard timing rules, and someone else who only plays rapid chess can hold a rating in that same category even though it's not the same style of chess! That makes no sense to me.
Now I get that on the internet people want to play blitz or daily chess due to everyone having ADHD and not having the patience to learn and play real chess. I get that because I myself do that all the time just for fun. But that style of play says very little about what my actual chess abilities are.
So my question is, straightly, why is there no standard rating on chess.com?
