When will chessdotcom get serious about helping members improve their chess instead of offering more and more glitzy “coaching” with less and less raw data in game review?

Will you ever make shorter bullet times for games? I think 10s bullet would be really fun. Also, will you ever make hyperbullet a separate rating?

Can we get an overview on the status of variants on chess.com and how it has been overlooked by admins before?

Will changes to the web site rating system also be reflected in the Rest API DB?

Many users of chess.com play on the app, which is great for daily or live games, but extremely poor when it comes to social interactions (thinking about clubs) and other activities, such as vote chess. App users don't get most of the notifications other users would get when logging in from a browser, and even links they could get (e.g. from announcements) are broken when opened from the app. That leaves thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands users in a blind side of the social life of chess.com.

When will there finally be a proper integration of clubs and other areas of the platform in the app?

A friend of mine had their account closed for a fair play violation around 3/7/25. Their last game was a loss due to abandonment. Can people be reinstated or be able to rejoin the website after X amount of time away? Or are there offenses beyond reinstating?

GUYS, I just got curious on doing some random analysis stuff and I found this weird 🛈 button so I pressed it. I found three things: Title, Country, and Avatar URL. I want to know how this 'Avatar URL' works and how to upload one. Thanks for those who will answer!

They should reach out to the support team.

There is always the option to file an appeal if they believe they were wrongly banned. Incorrect bans are pretty uncommon, but have happened.

If the ban was for rating manipulation or sandbagging and it was a first offence, depending on the circumstances, sometimes a promise to stop will lead to the account being reopened, generally with a reset rating.

Otherwise, they should ask for a second chance in a new account. If the ban was for engine use, and your friend is guilty, this is the only option.

Is there a way to apply to be a commentator for the variants Community Championships? I am fairly skilled at most variants and I would love to commentate.

Will there be an update for the Leagues? After you get to Legend League, there's not much to do.

Will there be updates for profiles and are the view counter and notes be taken away? I think most of the community would prefer to have to views and notes stay.

Would you consider adding a feature that allows you to edit and delete other people's comments on your own forum that you created? Then you can get rid of the trolls without having to wait for a mod.
