stockfish is really bad at short time controls.
Stockfish rarely lose in any time control. SF can make a move within 20 ms. So Stockfish can make 50 moves even if she has 1 second remaining.
It is not Stockfish that lose in time, it is chess.com web interface that they dont have algorithm in compensation of network lag that cause SF in losing time.
You will never lose in time (unless game length is >200 moves without increasement ) in properly configured offline GUI such as Arena.
