There was never a pawn on f4, take another look and give a move number.
He may mean f6. We can't really give advice on ongoing games, just check again what square your queen is on, make sure you're not in check, etc. I followed your link to the game and don't see anything odd, I think the system is working fine (no bugs).

The game makes much more sense if White's Queen is on c3!
