Strange salutations and weird well-wishes

I decided to break a second thread out from my "cultural good luck dilema" topic. I want to know what the strangest greeting you've ever gotten during a game is. What's the strangest one you've ever given?

I saw a lot of people posting suggestions for replacements for "good luck", so I'm curious which you've actually used/encountered.

P.S. Bonus points if the line was used in an OTB game Wink.

I usually title a game after a song I like and then open with the first line of the song. For example, game "Hotel California."

Goatllama: "On a dark desert highway/ cool wind in my hair"

The best part is that he knew what I was talkin' about.

diegobeltrano: "Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air"

SWEET

I start every game by saying, "Good luck!"  Some very strange people start mentioning Irish bands, such as "u2."  I've received this from multiple people, so it must be a meme or some Internet joke.  I've never listened to them, but I've just heard the name before, so maybe they  have a song called "Good Luck" or something of the sort.

Or maybe it's just a trend.  I dare someone to respond to "Good luck!" with "All your base are belong to us," and not chat for the rest of the game.  That would certainly evoke interesting responses...

Edit: Sorry, I was just going off of what I had heard from other people.  Mistake fixed.

U2 is from dublin.  dublin, ireland.  not british, per se.  irish.  but not british.  british isles?  maybe you could stretch it.  but it's like calling leonard cohen american cuz he's from north america.  just doesn't work.  anyway--no strange salutations to speak of here.

I thought you were serious....... I am so thick.

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US.

What is that from? It sounds familiar, but either way it is something I would like to open conversation with. Either that or "MY NAME IS INIGO MONTOYA, YOU KILLED MY FATHER, PREPARE TO DIE"

It is from the video game Zero Wing.  It was originally in Japanese and that was how it was translated into English.  The original sentence was "With the help of the Federation Government forces, CATS has taken all of your bases."  How it was translated that way is beyond me, but it became famous.  It does sound really cool, though.

How about:

"Ah, so the chicken flies in TWO directions......."

or:

"You kicked my dog!"

or even:

"Life is like a tree- you can sink two ships."

edit: OOPS I haven't used any of these (but I should!! Yell)

Somehow I like the idea of saying that at the start of all my games. Right away, after a few seconds on move one. Nice way to set the atmosphere for the game :-)
