Stuck at 1400, any ideas?

No matter what I do, I can't seem to beat 1400 players more than 50 percent of the time. No idea how to improve my game really. Any ideas? I play almost exclusively the Italian as White and the Caro Kann as black, in order to perfect those openings. I rarely blunder, I mostly lose positionally in the middle to end game.

"how to improve my game " ++ Analyse your lost games.

"the Italian as White and the Caro Kann as black" ++ Good

"I mostly lose positionally in the middle to end game" ++ Hard to believe: tactics!

I'm not good at generalization so i'll check your last two games

Nxe6 and forks R and Q. Simple blunder -3

You are willingly stepping into an attacked zone and things get escaladed quickly into this

you lost a piece -3 and lost the game.

my conclusion: you blunder more than you realize.

Yeah I blundered recently because I'm on a losing streak because I wasn't able to beat any 1400 players.

Michael Stean, Simple Chess will target your middlegame weakness. To improve, you need to study those things you do not do well.
