Study = Fail

- study = fail
study = - fail
So not studying gets you to fail once and studying gets you to fail twice.
Makes sense. The developer of the equation must have been studying maths.

For fun we can say : No= -1;
Makes more sense to me :p Because otherwise you're trying to factor 1 term by splitting its name (which makes no sense).
i.e. "no study" is one term, it's not (no) x (study).
And in the case where no = -1 we see why this is incorrect algebraically, because after the factorization you have study (1-1) = fail (1-1) and the division seen above is equivalent to dividing both sides by zero.
