Read this thread and the thread I referenced. There are many discussions and several free apps for puzzling include . The thing about LiChess.org is that it allows deeper tracking from start of game right up to pattern position. One can also Google 'free website for chess puzzles'. I use ChessPecker.org

Whether you want to learn from puzzles or Woodpecker methods is personal choice. Do what feels right for you because, if you are not HAPPY, then what is the point? All my best to you!

* that does NOT mean one doesn't calculate; simply that an immediate identification can save you time/effort.

For me, puzzling speed isn't the thing - it is flash-imprinting patterns and people learn in different ways. I learned not to put down those who play Blitz and Bullet thinking they weren't learning Chess. I was wrong. And those who criticize Woodpecker or puzzling are wrong as well.
BTW, I would LOVE this website to allow 'hiding' the Coach. In truth, I adore Danny Rensch and love his input and jokes in games and puzzles but in puzzles, I DO NOT want to know the tactic type for same reason you don't ... we won't know in games so we shouldn't know in puzzles.
I now have spotted patterns in many games and won some because of them. Woodpecker xor puzzling is used by Masters and Experts as well and is recommended by many masters. But even if not, I'd STILL DO THEM because they work for me.
I started learning here a year ago, I'm older than dirt AND I'm only here for fun but I can still sometimes put a worried look on my high-rate opponent's face. Nuff said.

I actually see that now.. you'll have to excuse me im old and forms are kinda new. Some how I had it only showing me the first sentence of your replies. That why I was so confused by the responses lol. Now I can see the whole tread and I see your complete responses to my original comments. Thanks for all the replies. I do feel like it has given me a steady level of improvement. I've never been over 1750 so I would know if it's a good method at your level. But at lower levels it definitely helps pattern recognition. Not a do all way to study I would agree. I also use other forms.

@chesssblackbelt You are still young. The world is NOT this or that; black or white. If Woodpecker Method HURT people, I'd stand with you. If it helps many many people then why be against it? You KNOW what I think of your chess skills. You'll never hear me argue with you, sir. 
Woodpecker Method IS puzzles. How the technique is applied makes no difference just like Blitz and Bullet. I (secretly) kinda snickered at fast play. I now find out many became great players via that method so I stopped snickering or making comments. All of these are simply tools.
What is that name 😭😭 my pecker is as hard as wood (is this bannable?)
