I knew the rules and played as child for fun. Never studied the game. To me chess was akin to Monopoly or Parcheesi or any other board game. I December I figured it would be a fun hobby so I created an account and i have been playing mostly daily. My issue is that I feel like I am improving but it feels aimless just to play games and do puzzles. I am wondering if anybody would be kind enough to steer me in the right direction. I don't know what to study or how to study. I this even the place to ask for free advice?
