Hey guys I have a question about something. I have noticed that sometimes I will get hyperfocused in a game of chess and not calculate, forget I have an opponent (other than the pieces), and move very quickly. This is almost as if I am in auto pilot. i dont think, I just kind of move as if the squares I should go to are highlighted, I play extremely well (maybe even better than usual play for me) but end up with a major headache after a game or  two. What is this and how do I do it with out the headaches?

well I am not saying I play fantastically I dont mean fantastically as in it makes me GM level or anything but I tend to play a stronger game when in this sort of auto pilot state I was just curious as to what it is and why it gives me headaches

it's just called focus, and a lot of people get headaches when they focus for too long. and no, you don't play very well atm, but practice will help with that. and if I may suggest, instead of playing fast games, play games with longer time controls, or even corrispondence instead of live. it will give you much more practice at good, intentional calculation, which will improve your game much more.
