I watch a lot of YouTube chess videos and the subject of subs comes up frequently, as in donated 10 subs. Could someone please explain what that means.

You might be watching a recording of a twitch vod so when someone says "Thank you for the 10 gifted subs" they are reffering to someone in twitch chat who gave them some money
