don't want much do you?
The website itself is fantastic. I am considering membership mainly to get rid of load times due to advertising which is a real drag.
My only complaint would be the chess puzzle which is frequently rather retarded.
Add-on to 2) the ability not only to rotate the board in 3d in horizontal movement, but full 360 vertical. Sometimes my best victories come from staring at the bottom of the board for extended periods of time. Please implement ASAP!
Add-on to 3) Not just voice, some people here are mute. Thought reading sensors to make your moves for you would be ideal. Although the touch move option would become a hindrance.
7) That manual that we know that the staff is hiding which contains the secret to solved chess. Come on guys, how long did you think that that would stay a secret? At least make some money off of your hard work!
8) For real: I would like to see alternate types of chess added (Random, and Anti-chess especially)
Ok so here are my suggestions. If these were to happen I would consider paying the small fee for premium member.
1) Online engine implementation that can be consulted once a game is finished. It would need to include a database to check against the current positions that is updated automatically after a game is played. Voice comments from players like Kramnik and Anand about the moves and their evaluations are to be played back as the game unfolds.
2) 3d pieces and board that can be rotated in real time. 42 different themes and colour choices. Replica pieces as used in different world chess championships can be unlocked if a player wins a certain amount of games. Effects like different light source based on the time when the game is played, fluorescent, natural light, incandescent etc.
3) Online chat, that includes voice activated moves. Useful if the person cannot use the mouse. Translator inbuilt so players across the world can understand each other. Message reminders sent to the player when it's his time to move. Syncronisation with the player’s watches (Both digital and analogue, I’m sure you can figure it out ) that shows how much there is left.
4) Local events organised across the world where chess.com premium members can attend for free. Various chess merchandise can be purchased for no cost but of however many points they have acquired on the site.
