i'm currently playing a game and low and behold my opponent has appeared with TWO queens on the board is this normal or fair ,i'm new to the site so i'm not quite sure as to the rules or customs

When a pawn reaches the end of the board, it gets replaced by a queen, knight, rook, or a bishop. The person who's pawn reaches the end decides which one it is (usually a queen).
