I don't really talk in live chess.

You can just block them.

'Drat' is an acceptable expression, or even 'double drat'.Smile

I tend to get sworn at if I refuse a rematch after I've won, and it tends to be Americans who do the swearing, but I don't really care.

The best defense is a good offense. I had someone trash talking not too long ago. Beating him was extremely satisfying.

Yep. When people swear, I play better chess. Perhaps the naughty filter should be disabled so that better chess is played?

When somebody swears at you, take it as a sign of success.

Today when I beat someone at live chess they swore at me does no one care for good sportsmanship anymore?

Some people just dont know how to communicate properly.  Disable chat or just continue to be nice to them.  I find not getting upset and continuing to be nice seems to bother them more.

I wrote a blog about sportsmanship as well. i don't get it. They just want to see your reaction or they're mad because they lost. Just report them or disable chat and all of that will be gone. I get bad sportsmanship A LOT and I hate it as well so I feel you here.
