What are the main differences between these two styles I was wondering. So I took an analytical look on games from both styles and came to discover that in positional one must search for different candidate moves than in tactical. In tactical style you must seek forcing/attacking moves while in positional, quite moves/manuvering/positioning. So I was wondering on what criterias should one choose what style to play? Me for example an expert player I can play both which I play better I have not tested. What do you think about all this?
