Tactics again.

Doesn't the Tactics trainer record the problems you've done when you do it in the untimed setting?

Why don't you ask the staff in a message? You've waited four days for a response here.

I left a note with the tactics moderator asking about it a day or so ago, but he never replied.

It would have just taken a yes or no answer.

I would not expect the tactics moderators to know the answer to this question. The job of the moderators is to ensure the quality of the problems. Your question is one for the developer of the software.

 If he didn't know, why didn't he just say so?

Just tried it and it appears they are not recorded, or atleast not displayed.

It is expected, or you would at least expect him to have some knowledge in the subject. They should know the features of a product that they use on their site. Like a car salesmen would know what cars are being sold, engines they have and whether they have a CD deck or not. If he was reporting a bug or glitch with the tactics trainer then a moderator would be no good other than relaying the message, but this is merely what features are supported question.

Though, the answer to that is not known because he/she never responded.

You would think though if you played about with it for 4 days then you'd realise that it doesn't record. 

No.

Unrated/un-timed is practise mode so doesn't record the tactics completed.

Only rated/timed tactics are recorded.
