Thank you. I enjoyed watching that game. I would love to reach that level of play. Despite your moving the less favorable rook, you still reached a fine outcome in your Tada Game.
Tada!!!

Sometimes I like finding top level GM games that have tactics way way way way over my head and just play through them really quick. It can have 1 of 2 effects.
1. Sort of calming to watch the smooth calculation because I feel like I grasp why they made a move even though I would not have been able to pick that move out myself
2. I get dizzy.

Now now thesexyknight, I'm sure your opponent would be very displeased that you're showing off such a painful loss. I mean, you really killed this guy
Does 9...Nxd4 do anything for him?
It seemed like the right rook -- if 22.Rexe6 instead I think 22...fxe6 may save black.
But anyway, I really like how you play super actively with 5.b4 trying to punish his waste of time with h6 -- perfect kind of move for blitz.

Thankfully it's from chesscube not chess.com so my opponent will never know , that and I spared them having their name posted.
But yeah, I had been trying to get a game with an Evan's gambit for 4 or 5 games in a row as white. I didn't get it the normal way but I got a similar gambit opportunity that had all of the same characteristics.

That doesn't because the rook isn't the only piece giving check to the king. It's a double check. There's the a3 bishop as well.

Naa, only one rook can give a double check -- if the e rook takes on e6 the bishop is still covered up.
I know it was on chesscube, but still... can't help but feel sorry for the guy

Oh you were referring to the alternate line I threw together . Good thing I chose what I chose I suppose
I just played this game and threw down some quick annotations and some of my thoughts on possible other moves. It was a lot of fun while playing it so I figured that regardless of whether it is a blunder filled mess of a game I'd share it. So here it is!
