So nice! The Americam media often portrayed Fischer in a bad light, but the Soviet GMs liked him very much! They were, like him, chess lovers!

I knew a different version of this. Fischer predicted Tal would soon be followed as WC by a young American GM, and Tal, in one of those instant reactions he had, immediately congratulated Lombardy.
