If you use the Live Chess server analysis board you can do that. just hook up your computer to the projector and log in to the Chess.com Live server, under the time tab click "analysis" and open an analysis board. from there you can insert games via PGN copy and paste, positions, make custom positions, move pieces around/explore different variations, highlight squares/arrows, ect. I think that'd work exactly as you need it. Message me if you want any help or have further questions.

Thanks for your reply! How do you get to the Live Server? One of my main complaints about Chess.com is that it isn't intuitive to use (why the heck is the home tab on the right of the screen, it should just be on the left before play...). That being said, it is a fantastic resource.
it's probably best if I walked you through this over Skype sometime, but go to "play" then "live chess" to go to the Live server. Then once there click the time control tab, at the bottom is analysis, click that. that will take you to your analysis board, where you can do the above mentioned things.
Hey Everyone,
While I have been a member of Chess.com for a while, I just started using it pretty regularly. If my post is in the wrong section or if this has been answered before, please forgive me.
I teach the Chess merit badge for the Boy Scouts of America pretty regularly and I was looking for ways to improve my lessons. After watching some of the videos here, I noticed that the board they have displayed shows highlighted squares and arrows for possible moves and I was hoping to utilize something like that during the course that I instruct. I would prefer something that I could update easily live as opposed to saving it via power point (though most of my period of instruction is done via power point). Is there a website or application that utilizes that? Basically, I want something like a computerized Demonstration Chess Set that I can easily show moves. Last time I used the Game Editor on this site, and while I liked it, I was hoping for something with a few more features. Does this exist? Where can I find it?
