Technical problems on Scid !!

Same problem. I am working on a opening repertoire with scid and the game-file gets to big... thats annoying.
Solution:
File size: 1.86GB. It opens the file but after showing that error.
solution1: This error pops up when you try to open it as "open base as tree" . Instead open just the database and then export all games to new si4 file. now try to open the si4 file as tree. It will work.
Tip1: While importing games import to new file instead of importing to clipbase because clopbase has a upper limit of 5Million games
Does anyone have this problem with scid? : error The maximum length for a game allowed by this database type has been reached
