Apparently the bongcloud can be real theory, with the barnes opening setup as white.

The 2 first moves are books and 2 best moves afterward in the position; but it falters compared to the bird's eye opening. FEAR THE BIRD

The Barnes is a great weapon to have in one’s arsenal. The king can join the attack within three moves saving the minor pieces for later on as reinforcements when they are most needed.

I guess theory doesn't mean its "Good", like the englund is booked too but it permanantly loses a pawn...

Maybe, but it can work, at least for some players. Magnus beat Wesley So with it last year and the man who developed it Thomas Barnes beat a couple of grandmasters with it.

I’m fact he beat Morphy with it so it can’t be all bad.

It's the worst first move, according to most chess players and probably Stockfish.
