It has come to my attention of a new gambit i have been playing for a while now, called the bird's gambit, has not recieved much attention or theory for that matter through out chess Bird's Gambit: this interesting gambit caught my attention when i started to play the philidor's exch

ok taking the pawn on d4 with cxd4 is not proper i can just play bd3 e5 or qc2 :P

I would be very happy to play dxc3 as Black.

Maybe its just that my oppenants dont know the correct lines, but, when facing this gambit as black I've often found it rather easy to play. (I dont think the extra tempo is sufficient compensation for a whole pawn) ...
