How is the Club Activity Rate Calculated?

Does anyone know how the club activity rate is calculated? I remember a staff member saying it was 1/the number of club members at some point. It's obviously not that anymore. Does anyone know what metrics are used?

I'd still like an answer as well. happy.png

The site has never released that information and my understanding is they don't plan to. Basically it's a combination of club events and member activity.

Why not?

I don’t understand why it’s a secret either. Maybe to prevent clubs from doing the things that are used to calculate the activity rate? It’d be a more useful metric if it was known how it was calculated. I was especially skeptical since I remember when it was literally 1/n, n being the number of members a club had.

My understanding is the site doesn't want admins trying to game the system just to have a high Activity Rate.

Unless there are some clubs that manipulates it too much, to have the best activity possible

Also why in the finals section -> mate with two rooks -> global of all time there are negative timings ?

how?

As said before, that information hasn't been released.

I think they should release the information, abusers could pretty easily get banned, and also this current system is pretty questionable, I saw a club with 6 members and a 0% activity rate skyrocket up to 80% because of 2 new members
