Is it good at all?

NOPE

It doesnt matter if a gambit is good or not, if you are brave enough to try it then go for it ....later on you will find ways to support the play you are doing to sac such pieces, im not a big gambit person so im no expert but it does lead to some great openings, dont ask if gambits are good, jsut do them and see if it works for you, though its going to take a long time to hone your skills to any gambit.

As a wise man I know said "Test your theories to failure."

I have the guts to play them, as an experiment, and they suck.

Why try to fool your opponent if he won't fool you?

I go over the Openings and see what works here.

Test your opening theories here. I do.

Through experience this is a very useful opening up until grandmaster level.

White is playing Hope Chess. Hoping black will play 5... d6 (best is f6 and black have slight advantage)

I have played this once over the board and never repeated it, mainly because after whites dvc3 soon as black finds ... F6 black is just a pawn up and white doesn't have enough compensation, its OK trying this against 10-1100 you may suckered them but any 1500 plus is going to find the move ...F6!!
