What if a person rated nearly 2400 in bullet chess wrote a guide to help you become a strong bullet player, would you be interested in it?

Only if I could finish it in less than a minute with no increments.

Perhaps but it would seem this something they might know is specific to bullet and not a general chess thing.

But, hey, I've never read a bullet book, so this is really just speculation.

I've never read one either. Makes me wonder if there are some tricks and stuff?

I could see the marketing logic in a book on bullet - it seems to be popular, which is the business requirement.

Person who plays bullet wants to get better - sees book "how to get better at bullet". This is how a lot of stuff is marketed - there are 40 or 50 different packaged pain relievers at your drug store, but only 3 or 4 ingredients. They are mostly all the same.

That's a good take on it, DarklingSalmon:)

Naka has already published a book on that subject: http://www.amazon.de/Bullet-Chess-One-Minute-Mate-ebook/dp/B005HZ6FNE

It does have some useful pointers, but it's not something you'd refer back to. Read it once and then sell it.

good heavens ,never a simple "yes "," thank you" or "no " out of the forums, always criticism and finding fault.

I would actually be interested because good bullet chess in my opinion is something different from normal chess. What would be TOTALLY awesome is if that book was in electronic form and what would be really great is if the diagrams in the book would play the moves automatically. This way you don't have to sit there and figure out what all the annotation means or have your ADD flare up at the sight of paper and text.

I bet you Nakamura hasn't got a chess bullet ebook.

I don't play bullet because I have no idea where to even start.

Did you read it?

Also, this guide would be written by a British man, so maybe they'll use fun British phrases! Oh, and definitely a chapter on why women can't play bullet chessWink

There should be a full-stop between 'forums' and 'always'. Not a comma.

I agree. Women should not be allowed to operate bullets.

Kleelof is easy enough?

It is often spelled incorrectly because some bozo thinks they are insulting me.

For example, the guy above spelled it keel-off; obviouly referring to me dying. (which isn't very nice.)
