The CEO of chess.com got banned.... how????
It's happened before: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/macer75-takes-over-chess-com-bans-erik
OK, that one was an edited screenshot.
We have a mods reply, it was probably some dood who found a random guy with a million alts....which are Erik's test accounts, and did a bulk closure WITHOUT REALISING THAT IT WAS ERIK

Though it's likely that's also just a mods guess lol none of us know what's happening even some of the mods
Looks like he's been given a second chance.
On a more serious note, banning a CEO of a company by mistake speaks volumes about their technical excellence (or rather lack thereof).

Nah a staff probably saw one of his tests accounts or something and made a mistake it probably wasn't an intentional ban otherwise a lot more drama withen the staff community would probably happen or other staff members would gotten banned
And I don't think it really signify anything about their technical experience depending on what happened
Of course, it was not an intentional ban, hence the second paragraph in my post.
They screw up a lot, most of the time it is just super frustrating for their users, many of whom are paying customers, but sometimes it gets to be a hilarious incident like this one.
Photoshop is such a great thing...
Acualy he legitimately got banned for like ten hours straight but all's good it got fixed he's now unbanned lol
What is even more shocking is that he's only 1558!
