Bishop to Bishop Six

Queen takes Rook

King to Rook Two

Queen takes Pawn Check

King takes Queen

Rook takes Pawn

Check

King takes Rook

Checkmate?

White resigns.

Wonderful. How come nobody replied to this

We don't usually respond to vulgar chess poems on Chess.com, heinze. I see you've only been here for three years, but you should be aware that this is a other people's family site.

Chess is supposed to be a kind of poetry.

Exactly!. Like "Thus Spoke Zarathustra"! Not like "Naked Lunch", heinze.

Woe is the lonely f7 square

Protected by but a king

Should bishop or knight lend its might

I force pawn doubling

So sneak around and cast your eye

Lest your dark king meet his fate

Should your gaze fall somewhere else

Believe I lie in wait

NEAR-REFUTATION OF THE SICLIAN

THE NOOB KEPT PLAYING STANDARD SICILIAN MOVES AND LOST

Except that letting your knight be caught is not best play for Black is it? Refutation is a strong word dude. Not least that this is a chess poetry thread. Refutations should really have best play for both sides.

here is a poem

roses are red

violets are blue

One friend said to the other "I saw an explosive game of chess the other day...", to which the other replied "How so?"

"The first move was pawn to c4!"
