lol i see improvement, slight imporovent , but nonetheless improvement
The choice between playing the computer and a real live person
Chess computers usually beat humans quite easily because that is what they are meant to do... compute. After all, computers actually compute all the possible combinations on the board and take what they may consider the best move. Of course, when you move, they recalculate and try to counter or minimize your move's effect. A human, however, can only think of a few possiblities and a few moves ahead.
There are also psychological effects... a computer does not feel pressure, nor does it get nervous during the game... And all these psychological effects WILL in fact affect how the human thinks... therefore increasing the possibility of making a mistake. Of course, the computer takes advantage of this and uses this to beat you.
In conclusion, if you want to play a game where you want to learn, maybe pick the computer as it sort of shows you how the computer thinks and counters your move. If you just want to play a casual game, go with playing against a human.
keep thinking of a response a truly great troll, can think of a comeback within seconds. Blitz trolling is remarkable, but i can see that you are inexperienced with trolling. I am hoping for you r success brah really it is the only thing i think about
The difference between playing a computer and a real person is that against a person you can feel their ego being crushed. Computers don't have feelings they can only give evaluations of positions. I play chess to crush the other player's ego.
What abouit your own ego? What happens when someone crushes you?
You speak in words denoting physical violence: this means you have a lot of pent up anger and hatred inside you. Have you seen a doctor? Do you grind your teeth when you are asleep? Subconscious rage is a very debilitating life conditio.
Now if only all of you people who want to crush could crush each other until none of you are left alive: that would be perfect for people who don't have egos and have no interest in crushing other people.
Where do I find these different engines? It's true the chess computer on this web site plays the same gambits over and over on the same opening.
Also: where is the button to respond to a post without using the quote button? I deleted your quote; otherwise it would be here .
Soorat...
You need new computer! Yours sounds so mean! Like human player! I hope you got some of your money back... Hate to see you go hungry...!
the player has emotion brah and can feel the power of each move. The resonation of defeat introspective formulates a transubstantiation of a convulation of mind/body and soul to better oneself. The computer is devoid of that transpiration of 2 beings battling through attrition to improve one's humanity and the enormity of existential beyond the two beings. Amen my brahs and good luck in this journey of withheld permissions in which we must strive for absolute vicory
No: you must strive for humanity: not for competition
competition is not humanity
Chess is not Life
get over it
Bobby Dicher was insane when he said that
Competition is not humanity. You have an understanding problem with this fact Sharks compete: they eat each other. Competition is not logical Cooperation is logicl. Making friends makes sense, making enemies makes no sense unless you want to kill yourself
lmao competition is a byproduct of not only humanity, but every living thing brah. Your logic argument is irrelvant to this debate, but I will respond and it may change your life positively due to the fragility of our mind( quote 92 of this thread). Logic is not the only thing that drives man ( we all have made knowingly illogical decisions in our life either for pleasure, time constraints, or another reason) or should drive man .......Go read "Hard Times" from Charles Dickens, it is a brillant read it may change your life brah.
About right now you, turak1, are going to make an illogical decision to sparknotes or wikipedia "hard times" , but I implore you to actually read it. Yes, it is illogical becuase the read may in fact do more for him than just getting a synopsis of the book, since he does not know how by reading the book when or what word he may be truly inspired.
That was my answer to your previous rebuttal brah. Brah nice editing to the above post, I am quite impressed. Look up my compnay grandmaster trolling inc, we may be able to help you of course once you pay the fee and sign the contract, try and find it in the forum "chess.com did not respond to me in24 hours"
in fact here is the link brah: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/chesscom-didnt-respond-in-24-hours
A two parter:
the player has emotion brah and can feel the power of each move. The resonation of defeat introspectively formulates a transubstantiation of a convulation of mind/body and soul to better oneself. The computer is devoid of that transpiration of 2 beings battling through attrition to improve one's humanity and the enormity of existential beyond the two beings. Amen my brahs and good luck in this journey of withheld permissions in which we must strive for absolute victory.
One person, olichris, has been able to dissect this profound statement. I know there are others who can. Do no be a afraid always challenge yourself.
second part:
Never underestimate the fragaility of the mind brah. If there is a thin line between genius and insane which is manifested in the similar apparel of an elderly university professor and a homeless man. Then logically there are innumberable ways to create an influx on the continuum of genius and insane, thus as a pendulum shifts, so could our minds by just one event have permanent, adverse ramifications. Thus, the mind is truly a beautiful thing to waste. Therefore, i want to congratulate all chess.com members for striving to improve.
All my university students or graduates can attest to this, about a wise university professor who dresses like a homeless man, no?
Turak, I can see the logic in your argument and I am aware of the interesting cooperative v competitive studies which indeed do seem to show that cooperativeness is more efficient.
However I can excuse the animals who if we assume are not as "intelligent" as us do not have the results of such experiments to learn from nor the conscious ability to put them into practice.
We however do seem to have stayed with a competitive ethos, just look at all our sports, economic systems etc.
So are we therefore logical enough to over come whatever " drive" we have toward competition, or are the experiments merely messages for those who have no real desire to listen and act accordingly.
Then again maybe the ants, slugs, dolphins etc have carried out such experiments and are acting in a way that makes us rationalise our competitiveness and are just waiting for us to snuff ourselves out and then take over ( sorry jokey bit over !)
Olichris
"Seem?" You see nothing and understand nothing.
Thankyou for the elucidating and well argued response !
I can see letsgohomes point now !
You are semantically illiterate. The word 'seem' is total garbae. The word 'seem' is your semantic error because you do not understand science and do not understand the scientific facts. Scienntific studies do not 'seem' to prove that cooperation is superior to competition: They prove it a thousand times over. You eggheads are so detached from reality you csannot absorb or digest or understand irrefutable scientific facts which exist: They do not 'seem' to exist: The exist and they are irrefutable. Until you face facts and admit you are wrong and say you are wrong: you are existing inside your own fantasyland of self-delusion.
think about it
The point is you do not think about anything I post. Nor do you respond to the english words I post. You are talking to yourself not me. Your gibberish is not English. There is no such thing as a 'yoda picture' in the English language. Nor is there a word spelled 'brah'. In order to communicate in a language you must first be educated in that language. If you want to post sometyhing have the common decency to usde the English language: otherwise nobody knows what you are posting or what it means.
