The Consequences of your middle-game.

Defend in the first few moves. In the middle game, Attack. Attacking leads to eventual checks, and later if played properly Checkmate. Checkmates are results of your middle-game for this particular reason. Defending is helpful, but defending and not attacking as often as your opponent will result in your downfall. Of Course, you need to defend, but doing silly moves downfalls your defence. Concentrate, and maybe the game will end in a way unexpected in your position. Good Luck and hopefully this advice will make you a better Chess Player.
